Portraiture has always been my gateway to understanding the world from diverse viewpoints - I spent many school hours sketching my friends and teachers, connecting to them in a special way. When I draw or paint someone, a feeling of deep empathy grows. Through the lines and the colours I convey what makes them unique and beautiful. In this exchange, portraits serve as mirrors, reflecting not only the model's mystery but also inviting us to explore our own emotions and narratives.

I have been dreaming of tsunamis since I was a child. I watch them coming towards me before I dive into them. These are my favourite dreams. I also dream of landscapes with mystical ruins, waters and their reflection in the sky.
"Tsunamis" serve as a metaphor for the overwhelming emotions that submerge us, mirroring the expressive turmoil of the sea and the threat of climate change, droughts and sea level rise. My large-scale, expressionist, landscape paintings envelop you in the complex emotions associated with water.

"Mister Buisson" (buisson means bush in French) is a resilient bush embracing human habits. Mr. Buisson illustrates with humour the disconnect between humans and nature, and challenges us to reconsider our relationship with the more-than-human: if Mr. Buisson can step in human shoes, could we try to step in theirs?
MYTHS
Once powerful; now forgotten. Gods, heroes and prophets hollowing as grooves, golden crusts, fragments of statues. When you live in their skies and in their forests, when you visit their tombs, you can feel their warm breath. And they whisper old stories full of envy, faith and glory.
