My studio is a free creative space where I make worlds, follow my obsession with myths, give shape to dreams, and practise portraiture as an act of love. My work is held by private collectors and the Rotterdam Maritime Museum, and I also create paintings and portraits on request.
GODS AND MYTHS | Old gods, heroes and prophets still live on: broken statues, golden fragments, symbols and stories that have travelled through time into our culture. I like to imagine these ancient figures returning to the present, asking people to become gods and goddesses for a moment.
TSUNAMIS | Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of tsunamis. I watch them approach before diving in. In these large-scale expressionist paintings, water becomes a metaphor for emotions and a mirror of our relationship with nature.

MR BUISSON | "Mister Buisson" (buisson means bush in French) is a little bush trying to understand humans' world. He illustrates with humour the disconnect between humans and nature, and challenges us to reconsider our relationship with the more-than-human.
