Sitting in a spot and drawing creates a moment out of time, where you connect entirely with the soul of the place. When I travel I spend most of my time with a sketchbook to create beautiful memories.
The first two paintings, Gele Dageraad (110x90cm) and Winter op Noordereiland (120x180cm), are an homage to the majesty of the Maas. Gele Dageraad won the public award at the exhibition "ILoveDeMaas" at the Maritiem Museum Rotterdam and is now in the museum collection.
